Vtg Tube Top Terrycloth High Waist Bottoms Pool Knickers S Set Pinup Suit 70s

Cute red terrycloth tube top, with drawstring at top that can be tied as a halter top, with a pair of polka dot nylon summer knickers. Bottoms appear to be handmade, and may be vintage 1950s, but this outfit was worn together as a suntanning set on our historic ranch years ago. Super cute! Tube top unfortunately has a number of small holes, some of which are pictured. Could be stitched shut or patched, but if it's a suntanning outfit I'd just wear it as-is. Bottoms have soft covered elastic at waist, and are blousey in the seat and high-waisted. Lots of stretch, waist measures 12.5 unstretched to 17" stretched. From waist to crotch seam they measure 11.5" approximately. The top measures as wide as 36"+ through the bust, but the elastic is about 12" armpit to armpit unstretched, to 18.5". Waist elastic is 12" to 17.5", and total length from top hem to bottom ruffle is 12.5". Check out my other listings for more vintage gems as we clean out the attics and sheds on the old ranch!
