    Description

    Donor powerhead pulled from a 1979 Johnson 50.  Powerhead had good compression but the short shaft motor needed a complete make-over - shop is keeping the scarce short "stack" and lower unit to build a fresh motor for resale - these shortie loopers are a rare breed.  In any event, the powerhead looks ratty - needs a new paint job - but it has 120 psi in both holes so it's a quick and cheap fix for your 40, 48, 50, 55, or 60 "looper" with a blown powerhead.  Should fit all "stacks" or midsections up to and including 1988; will not fit '89 and up motors.  Clean this up, install your good accessories - carbs, starter, fuel pump, powerpack, etc. and you could be back on the water fast for short money.
