    This listing is for a silver plated ring inscribed with the buddhist prayer for compassion, om mani pad hum.  This ring is adjustable and handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal.
    The script is the mantra of Avalokteshwara, the Buddha of compassion, and it translates to "hail to the jewel in the lotus". Mani means jewel and pema means lotus. OM includes three syllables, AH, O and MA. OM can also be used as a blessing, OM AH HUM.
